RESEARCH INTERESTS

Computer modeling of whole body metabolism including intermediary metabolism (glucose, ketone bodies, and lipoproteins) and various nutrients including calcium, zinc magnesium, potassium and phosphorus metabolism in humans.

The studies have used isotopes as tracers and kinetic data have been analyzed by modeling using the WinSAAM (Windows version of the Simulation, Analysis and Modeling) software.
